Description

As an independent game development team, our concern to make an effective title about war led us to develop a game about wars—not from the perspective of soldiers, but from the perspective of civilians. Fatherhood is a 2.5D side-scrolling war adventure where players become a father navigating through the dangers of war, willing to sacrifice everything to save his blind daughter. Featuring a unique hugging mechanic, multiple endings, and player-driven challenges, it offers an emotional story and an immersive experience. * Features: - An emotional narrative focused on the bond between a father and his blind daughter - Engaging gameplay blending mechanics with storytelling - Involves important decisions that impact on gameplay - Stunning visuals and immersive Eastern music - Includes side stories that help to better understand the consequences of war

History

Heavily inspired by "This War of Mine," we decided to create a game centered around the themes of "war" and "sacrifice" to explore the distinctions between "fact" and "truth". As the project advanced, more team members joined to expand on the theme of wars and their impact on civilians.
